What Macify collects
- Your Google email address. You sign in to the Macify app with Google. The app asks Google only for your email (the
openidandemailscopes). We use it to check that you bought Macify. - A random device ID and a last-seen time. A license works on one PC at a time. The ID and time let us tell which PC holds it.
- Your payment details, at Dodo Payments. Dodo Payments takes the payment and is the seller of record. We receive your email address and a payment ID, never your card number.
What Macify does not collect
- No analytics or tracking, on this site or in the app.
- Your keystrokes, trackpad movements, files and screen never leave your PC. Macify reads them only to remap shortcuts and gestures on the machine itself.
Where it is kept and who sees it
- Licenses and device records are stored in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore).
- This site and its license service run on Vercel.
- On your PC, the Google sign-in is kept encrypted for your Windows user account.
- We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.
Refunds and deletion
If a payment is refunded or disputed, the license for that email is switched off. To have your license record deleted, write to the address below. Deleting it ends your license.
